Provide secondary support to the Technology Warehouse.
Qualifications: Special Knowledge/Skills: Valid driver's license with a good record Able to lift multiple 40lb cases of books Experience: Not required Major Responsibilities and Duties: * Receiving - verify accuracy of shipments and record any discrepancies or damage * Pulling - accurate accounting of pulling stock for deliveries * Delivering - taking textbooks and related materials to each campus, picking up textbooks to return to warehouse * Verify shipments from freight companies, quantity received and condition * Assist in shipping textbooks back to the state and to other districts * Stock and maintain inventory of textbooks and related materials in the warehouse * Conduct annually a complete inventory of all materials in the IM warehouse * Conduct annually audits of all IM materials on assigned campuses * Assist in keeping accurate maintenance records of equipment and vehicles * Ensure cleanliness in the warehouse * Trained and follow OSHA guidelines * Safely operate and assist with the proper storage and maintenance of all warehouse equipment.
* Crosstrain with the Technology Warehouse staff to be able to provide full support of all routine task as needed.
Equipment Used: Forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, ladder, dolly hand tools.
Training provided with OSHA guidelines.
Working Conditions: Continual walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying.
Work outside and inside of the warehouse.
Exposure to heat, dampness, humidity, and slippery or uneven walking surfaces.
