A network associate plays a key role in maintaining and supporting an organization's computer networks.

They assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.

Network associates often monitor network activity, resolve user issues, and implement security measures to protect data and systems.

Working under the guidance of network engineers or administrators, they help ensure the smooth operation of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking infrastructure.

Essential Functions 20% - Network Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.

20% - Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitoring network performance, identifying issues, and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.

20% - Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues across LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.

10% - Security Implementation: Supporting the implementation of network security protocols and tools to safeguard data and systems.

10% - Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of network configurations, changes, incidents, and procedures.

10% - User Support: Assisting end-users with network access issues, VPN connections, and related technical problems 10% - Other Duties as assigned.
