communicate orally and in writing. Ability to operate or learn to operate a variety of technology

and equipment. Ability to cooperate and work as a member of a team. Physical ability to lift

student if required by job assignment.

Job Summary:

To provide the emotional, instructional and technical assistance to meet the specialized

needs of students.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Meet the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act:

a. Two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education; or

b. Associate's or higher degree; or

c. Knowledge and ability to assist in instruction in core subjects as verified by a

rigorous state or local assessment.

3. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.

Salary Information: Support Personnel. Pay Grade 6. One hundred eighty-six days worked per year (10 months). FLSA Non-Exempt.
