The part-time Registration and Records Specialist supports the College of The Albemarle's Records and Registration Department within the Division of Success and Enrollment Management (SSEM). This position is primarily responsible for managing full-time equivalent (FTE) reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and institutional requirements.
Additionally, the specialist provides operational support within Records and Registration and assists with Career and College Promise (CCP) program activities, including final grade distribution and compliance audits.
This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to prioritize tasks in a part-time capacity.
The Registration and Records Specialist reports to the Director of Registration and Records/Registrar.Primary Function: * Manage and maintain accurate full-time equivalent (FTE) reporting to ensure compliance with state and institutional requirements.
* Compile, analyze, and submit FTE data for internal and external reporting purposes.
* Administer and oversee the drop for non-payment process, ensuring timely communication, accurate record updates, and compliance with institutional policies and deadlines.
Additional Records and Registration Support: * Assist with various Records and Registration functions as needed, such as data entry, records maintenance, and supporting registration processes.
* Collaborate with the Registrar and team members to ensure data integrity and accuracy across student record systems.
Career and College Promise Support: * Distribute final grades for CCP students in a timely manner.
* Distribute enrollment reports for CCP team and high school partners.
* Conduct ongoing compliance audits related to CCP program requirements.
* Assist in maintaining documentation and reporting to ensure adherence to state program standards.
Other Responsibilities: * Support audits and verification processes related to enrollment, grades, and student records compliance.
* Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students regarding Records and Registration processes.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as required by the Registrar and SSEM leadership.
Required: * Associate's degree * Experience with student information systems Preferred: * Bachelor's degree * Experience with student information systems in a higher education environment.
