Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment as directed
Repairing overhead cranes, A/C equipment, welding machines, air compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, hot dip galvanizing kettles, boiler, bag houses, production equipment, etc.
Maintains compliance with OSHA standards, company policies and other federal and state regulations
Assist in all areas of maintenance as assigned
Able to diagnose basic electrical/mechanical breakdowns
Installs, repairs, rebuilds: wiring and maintains a variety of mechanical/electrical and electronic equipment such as motors, forklifts, manlifts, transformers, alarms, machines, relays, circuit breakers, etc.
Must have good working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical for shop equipment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
Qualifications:
Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
Experience with welding and torches
Able to work well with team members and independently
Must have high awareness of safety (wear PPE)
Ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
Must have tools
Experience:
5+ years of related experience and/or training
Salary Description
$17 - $24 Depending on Experience
