Machine Shop Supervisor

Under general supervision, the Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision to production operations of Machine Shop team members who run conventionally and numerically controlled machines (turning, milling, drilling, etc.) to meet Safety (People), Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics.

The Machine Shop Supervisors work will include managing staff efficiently and effectively to ensure all job requirements and company expectations are met.

Maintain the resources necessary to perform jobs efficiently and meet production goals.

They will continuously monitor and maintain work flow through machining processes and engage with the team on how processes can be improved.

The Machine Shop Supervisor will maintain departmental equipment by ensuring it is used properly, stays in good condition and if required is repaired by the proper resources, minimizing downtime.

They will also support 5S and Lean Manufacturing in every day work practices.
