Respiratory Clinical Manager - Respiratory Care - FT Evenings 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm * Hours: FT Evenings 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm * Location: Grand Blanc, Michigan * Hospital: Henry Ford Genesys GENERAL SUMMARY: * This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct departmental activities.
Supervise safety and quality of care, ensuring compliance with departmental, organizational and regulator standards, policies and procedures.
* Directs and completes performance management and employee engagement.
Provides ongoing setting of goals, expectations, evaluation and discipline of personnel.
* Monitors attendance, productivity and utilization of labor, supplies and service in a fiscally prudent manner.
* Develops and monitor budgets, quality improvement activities, staffing levels, goals, objectives and policies collaboratively with their Medical Director.
* Acts as liaison to Medical, Nursing and administrative leadership.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Bachelor's Degree.
Four (4) years of respiratory therapy experience.
* One (1) year of progressively more responsible experience in respiratory therapy.
* Demonstration of leadership, good communication skills, problem solving and organizational skills, flexibility, self-directedness, and initiative.
* Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Uses AIDET.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: * Current Michigan Respiratory Therapy licensure.
Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). * BLS/ACLS/NRP Instructor certification, preferred.
