SEASONAL/SUMMER LABORERS

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS SEASONAL/SUMMER LABORERS $15.00 per hour East Providence DPW is seeking temporary seasonal/summer laborers with experience performing manual labor for its Highway and Parks Departments.

Seasonal work beginning in May for approximately 12 weeks; Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week.

Duties include mostly working outdoors and assisting with Parks preservation and clean up, grass cutting, shrub trimming, trash pick-up, sweeping and other work as assigned.

Will assist with any and all DPW Laborer position responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

Must have the physical aptitude to perform the job and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
