Senior Accountant
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take on a vital role in our client's accounting team. A successful candidate should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a keen sense of detail with a willingness to learn along with strong financial analysis skills.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Description:
Coordinate and execute the full month-end closing process
Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits to ensure compliance
Analyze commissions and royalties for proper recording on a monthly and quarterly basis
Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations
Oversee all accounting functions related to daily collection and disbursements
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years' experience
CPA certification or ability to register as a CPA within a reasonable timeframe
