Cost Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a manufacturing company who is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. This position will be fully on-site. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Description:

Perform monthly closing activities including analysis accounts and journal entries

Monitor inventory accuracy for adherence to inventory controls.

Lead annual physical inventories.

Analyze gross margin results, correct anomalies, identify trends, and communicate findings

Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations

Lead regular variance reviews with other stakeholders Requirements:

Advanced Excel skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with BoM's and production routers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
