Senior Tax Accountant

Century Group is partnering with an entertainment organization who is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to bring to their team. This role will be fully onsite in West Hollywood, CA. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Description:

Prepare federal and state tax returns

Prepare quarterly tax projections before submitting to Tax Manager for review

Review and oversight over tax preparation work papers and initial review of returns

Review and oversight over quarterly and annual payroll tax returns

Calculate and distribute W-2s and 1099s

Assist Tax Manager with coordination of audits, entity creation and dissolution, and training staff

Requirements:

Proficient in QuickBooks, ProSystems, and Excel

CPA required

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics and a minimum of 2 years' experience managing several concurrent projects
