Day 2x12-Hour (10:30 - 23:00)

Description:

The CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Tech assists surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile surgical instruments and equipment. They ensure the operating room is properly set up, handle surgical supplies, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team. The role requires strict adherence to safety and sterile techniques to support successful surgical outcomes.

It will be anywhere from 630am to 11pm with call. Hours will be filled in wherever the need is for the schedule.

Shift:

• 2X8 shifts: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

• 2X12 shifts: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM

• Day shift with call required

• Must be flexible

Must-Haves:

• Scrub experience required

• 5+ years total CST experience

• 2+ years in cardiac & vascular

• 1 year CVOR experience

• 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility

• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing

Certifications:

• BLS

Required Skills:

• General OR

• Thoracic

• Vascular

• CVOR procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc.)

• Aseptic technique

• Crash cart, scrub & circulate

• Equipment documentation

Charting System:

• EPIC
