Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for a Primary Care Physician to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center located at 1 Medical Center Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301. May include floating to the Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Gassaway, Parkersburg, Parsons and Westover, WV. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-4:30 pm with no call or holidays. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities
Provide primary care services, including evaluation, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Perform initial evaluation, treatment, and management of minor wound care, respiratory illness, gastrointestinal illness, burns, musculoskeletal trauma, dermatological illness, ENT, eye, and urological problems.
Manage chronic diseases such as coronary artery disease, diabetes (Type I and II), hypertension, hyperlipidemia, PTSD, depression, and other chronic medical and psychiatric conditions.
Be present and on time for scheduled shifts in Primary Care.
Follow established medication policies and procedures (no sample medications to patients).
Communicate test results to patients in accordance with VHA Directive 1088.
Document care provided and select appropriate Evaluation and Management (E&M) procedure codes in the electronic health record (EHR), completed by the end of each patient encounter
Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings as required by the facility Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designee.
Attend staff meetings and communicate with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) regarding any conflicts that may interfere with compliance.
Complete required documentation for procedures, complications, and outcomes.
Ensure patient documentation is completed using the current EHR system.
Document care given and select appropriate E&M codes to support billing and compliance.
Follow patient safety and infection control standards, report incidents, and participate in the VA Patient Safety Reporting System.
Refer patient/customer service issues to the Primary Supervisory Physician or Deputy Chief of Primary Care.
Qualifications
Must have a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Maintain an active AHA BLS certification
NPI report printout
Active DEA license
Has and maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
