Cary Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Nutritional Services Office Aide to join our Nutritional Services team. In this role, you will perform a variety of general food service tasks that support the overall operation of our department.

Essential Duties:
Nutrition screenings conducted within 24 hours of admission.
New lab values and weights are collected every 7 days and recorded in Kardex.
Prepares and adjust nourishment and production forms.
Maintains accurate and updates dietary records or patients.
Performs cash procedures.
Runs diet list off computer at designated times.
Collects all lab values, height/weight, age, diagnosis and diet orders upon admission and records in patient Kardex.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
High School or GED preferred.
Ability to relate professionally with other hospital staff.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to the advantage of the patients and customers.
Frequent problem solving required.
Continuously assess situations and determine immediate corrective action.
Schedule:
5:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Days will be assigned by manager.
With consideration to our patients' and staff needs, you may need to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays and may need to float to other units.
