Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $45.00 to $55.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate compensation for all employees.

Optimize payroll workflows and reporting using Workday and other relevant systems.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and support audits.

Generate payroll reports and provide insights to support financial planning and analysis. Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

Minimum of three years of experience in payroll administration.

Hands-on experience with Workday payroll systems and process optimization.

Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations.

Proficiency in Excel and other payroll-related software tools. Qualifications:

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.

Strong communication skills for working across departments and with external vendors.

Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
