Deliver Driver, Part Time

The Pioneer has an immediate opening at its production facility in Big Rapids for a part-time Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of freight (newspapers) and delivering these bundles to various locations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate all company trucks

Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and fluid levels are correct before operating

Maintain a valid driver's license

Abide by Michigan traffic laws

Deliver freight to proper destinations on time

Safety and efficiently load and unload cargo

Properly prepare printed products for shipping

Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.

Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive way

Requirements

Maintain a valid driver's license

Chauffeurs license or the ability to obtain one

Abide by Michigan traffic laws

Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug test

Ability to pass pre-employment physical

Ability to work early morning hours, up to 24 hours per week
