About Our Client

I'm partnered with the CFO at an industry leading, global manufacturer, and the fastest growing company in their space! This client helps create various products in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, and machining industries and are experiencing massive growth. With this growth, they are now looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible with assisting in various accounting functions including month-end, audit requests, sales and used tax, intercompany transactions and more!

Job Description

Prepare and review complex financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with GAAP standards.

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.

Manage and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and reviews.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper expense allocation.

Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Research and interpret complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Manage intercompany transactions, consolidations, and eliminations in a multi-entity environment.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Bilingual in Mandarin & English

4+ years of accounting experience

Manufacturing industry or relevant industry

Strong verbal and written communication

Understanding and application of accounting principles/practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)

Strong business partnering and communication skills

Working knowledge of ERP systems
