FTE Physical Education and Health Teacher

The successful candidate will: * Plan and implement the physical education & health curriculum for grades 4-5 * Evaluate individual students using department-developed common assessment tools, maintain up-to-date records of student progress * Collaborate with members of the PreK-12 Physical Education & Health department to review, develop and execute a rigorous district curriculum aligned to state standards; including development and facilitation of MARC and Human Growth and Development Units.

* Create a positive, inviting, and safe learning environment while modeling enthusiasm for learning * Develop, model, and practice class procedures and routines * Modify instructional practices to meet individual student needs * Communicate high expectations to all learners, as well as realistic and consistent expectations for student behavior and applies appropriate consequences
