We are currently seeking an experienced: HOME HEALTH/HOSPICE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE LIAISON Full Time, Days Job Summary: Service as a link between the operations and billing/financial areas in an effort to centralize processes.
Evaluate accounts receivable operations of Home Health and Hospice sites.
Develop work plans to correct/improve office accounts receivable management in conjunction with Home Health and Hospice Management and Billing Staff.
Develop, coordinate and provide mentoring and training regarding accounts receivable activities within the clinical sites.
Develop agency specific best practice standards/benchmarks for accounts receivable management including but not limited to the Medicaid Electronic visit verification and the Hospice Hope tool.
Develop work plans to ensure Home Health and Hospice sites reach agency specific best practice standards/benchmarks for accounts receivable management and centralized processes.
Maintains internal system process documents and training materials online for shared access.
Serves as a liaison between Clinical and Financial operations, Staff Development, Process#Workgroup and Clinical Management.
Centralize Processing of Outside Vendor Room # Board claims for Hospice and act as the contact for information and concerns from these vendors.
Centralization of the Episode Management for Non-Admits, Discharges and new admit with episode issues.
Job Requirements: Bachelor#s Degree in Nursing or other Healthcare related field preferred.
Requires a minimum of 3 years management and a minimum of 2 years experience to include experience in home health and hospice.
Experience in clinical financial operations preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of the rules, regulations and operations of home health, hospice and palliative care industry.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact and communicate in a professional and tactful manner with all internal and external customers.
Must have an understanding of the principles of financial management of home health, palliative care and hospice services.
Must possess the ability to analyze financial and statistical data.
