Job Description: Instruction of students in the nursing (AAS for RN / PNC for PN) programs. Teaches courses in accordance with their description as published in the catalog. Maintains accurate attendance records for students enrolled in class and submits required reports to the Registrar's office. Adheres to course objectives and outcomes determined by nursing program committees. Filing current course syllabi with the Division. Utilizes the full classroom time assigned, meeting all classes as scheduled. Responsible for management of classroom, clinical and laboratory learning opportunities for nursing students; theory, clinical, and lab content instruction for students in these programs.

Schedule Information: Evenings/weekends/days depending upon course schedule

Qualifications

Education Requirements: A current unencumbered Illinois Registered Nurse license and Master of Science in Nursing required.

Experience Requirements: At least two years of clinical nursing experience in OB/Maternal Health and computer proficiency required. Familiarity with Blackboard Learning Management system and at least two years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
