The Cardio-Pulmonary Technologist performs routine pulmonary function testing (spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume, respiratory muscle strength, arterial puncture). Performs routine exercise studies such as O2 titration and 6 minute walk, invasive deadspace measurement, resting energy expenditure, and assists with invasive procedures.
Education Associates Degree : AMA approved school of respiratory care or pulmonary function technology (Required) Experience 1 Year experience in pulmonary function testing, arterial blood collection, experience in bronchoscopy assistance and blood gas analysis.
