The PFT/Rehabilitation Technician performs routine pulmonary function testing (Spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume, respiratory muscle strength.

Performs routine exercise studies such as O2 titration and 6 minute walk, resting energy expenditure.

Performs cardiopulmonary exercise testing.

Performs pulmonary rehabilitation diagnostic and therapeutic exercise to others.

CRT/RRT only required for Respiratory Therapist.

CPFT or RPFT required within 1 year of hire.

Education Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology or Associates Degree from an AMA accredited school of Respiratory Care Licensure/ Certification BLS (Required) CPFT or RPFT (Required) CRT or RRT (Required) ACSM-EP (Preferred) Experience 1 Year experience in pulmonary rehabilitation and/or pulmonary function testing (Required) Experience in calibrating equipment, performing quality control procedures, and conducting a clinical exercise test (Preferred) '183728
