Century Group is partnering with a finance company who is seeking a full-time Accounting Services Manager to work in their corporate office, located in Westlake Village. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $135k to $150k per year.
Job Description:
Manage, train, and mentor a decentralized team of 5-7 AP team members
Establish and/or update company-wide Accounts Payable and General Ledger policies and procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls
Ensure timely invoice processing, approval verification and expense coding
Maintain employee and AP Corporate Credit Card programs, manage spend limits, monitor cardholder activities and interface with Amex representatives
Maintain employee expense reimbursement processes
Ensure accurate maintenance of the vendor master files and W-9 / W-8BEN-E tax information
Lead the annual Form 1099-misc preparation and processing
Resolve discrepancies, concerns, questions, and problems raised by employees, vendors and/or management
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Payables and general ledger system experience with knowledge of major ERPs, NetSuite preferred
Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to communicate with management and all departments across the organization.
Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 5 years' accounts payable experience
