Centerville City Schools is seeking a compassionate and dependable 1:1 Nurse (LPN or RN) to support a student with medical needs. This position requires riding the bus to and from school with the student each day and providing care during the school day. The student has a service dog through 4 Paws for Ability; the nurse will receive training to serve as the student's dog handler.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care as outlined in the student's health plan
Accompany the student on the bus daily
Participate in service dog handler training and assist in managing the service dog during the school day
Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure consistent support This is a full-time, school-year position.
