WE have an exciting opportunity with a Oil & Gas industry leader! Seeking 2 Engineering Technical Writers to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing technical documents for the Field Service and Maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong background in Engineering, knowledge of P & ID, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Technical Writer
Location: Spring, TX
Pay Range: $37-40 per hour
What's the Job?
Develop and update Operations Procedure documentation in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and international regulations
Create clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical and safety-related documents
Maintain Operations documentation supporting the company's Management Systems
Develop procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and training manuals for Field Service Engineer and Maintenance
Present drafts for management approval and incorporate feedback effectively, partner with SME on feedback to ensure technical documents are accurately written
What's Needed?
BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or similar
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiar with P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) highly preferred
Understanding of documentation systems and controls management
Experience in developing Operating & Maintenance procedures, Work Instructions, and Training materials
Familiar with Mechanical and engineering drawings and ability to interpret drawings into technical manuals/instructions
