Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers based in Knoxville, TN for consistent, dedicated routes.

This position offers daily home time with structured dispatching and a competitive daily pay rate. Drivers will receive the $230 daily rate if no freight is available, provided they have completed all issued safety training.

Equipment & Policies:

-Trucks: 2021 & 2022 Freightliner Daycabs

-Slip-Seating: Trucks are shared among drivers; be prepared to operate a truck recently used by another driver.

-Maintenance: Drivers are responsible for keeping trucks clean and removing all trash at the end of each shift.

Routes & Freight:

-Knoxville - Union City, GA

-May deadhead empty or have fronthaul and backhaul.

Example route:

-Knoxville / Union City / Fairburn / Cleveland / Knoxville

-Knoxville - Spartanburg, SC / Gray Court, SC / Moore, SC

-May deadhead empty or have a fronthaul, depending on freight availability.

Example route:

-Knoxville / Gray Court / Spartanburg / Knoxville

-Knoxville - Dublin, VA

-Typically deadheads empty but may occasionally include a stop in Newport, TN.

Example route:

-Knoxville / Newport / Dublin / Knoxville

Dispatch & Scheduling:

-AM Drivers: Receive next-day dispatch between 4:00 - 5:00 PM the previous day.

-Start time: Between 3:00 - 5:00 AM, based on pickup/delivery appointments.

-PM Drivers: Receive dispatch by 3:00 PM on the same day.

-Start time: Between 3:00 - 4:00 PM, based on pickup/delivery appointments.

-Slip-Seat Courtesy: Drivers must be on time for shift transitions to avoid delays for the next driver.

Qualifications:

-Valid CDL Class A Driver's license.

-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.

-Clean MVR.

-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
