About Our Client

To support future growth, a firm is seeking to hire a Senior Asset Manager. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of business plans, investment performance (including financial analysis, budgeting, capital expenditures, and construction management), and property dispositions. The role will work closely with other members of the investment team on a regular basis.

Job Description

Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects, adjusting strategies as needed, identifying opportunities for improvement, controlling costs, monitoring trends, and overseeing team members.

Create annual operational and capital plans, collaborating with internal teams on project scope, budgeting, design, and implementation of improvements.

Conduct regular on-site reviews to assess performance and market positioning, with moderate travel required.

Evaluate assessments and work with external advisors on optimization strategies, oversee contracts, and coordinate with service providers to address legal or compliance matters.

Assist in monitoring cash flow, forecasts, and financing activities, supporting the finance team in planning and resource management.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.

5-7 years of experience managing complex assets or projects, preferably with experience in compliance-driven or regulated environments; project development experience is a plus.

Strong background in asset evaluation, portfolio oversight, and operational management; experience with strategic divestitures is advantageous.

Advanced proficiency in Excel for reporting, analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

Demonstrated success in managing external vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams.
