BASIC FUNCTION: * Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Agriculture courses up to 10 hours/week * Organize and teach all levels of Welding classes * Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; * Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses; * Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; * Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired Required Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum qualifications for disciplines on this list are any bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience.
* Any associates degree and six years of experience OR * Any bachelor's degree and two years of experience OR * The equivalent OR * Possess a California Community College life credential in the subject matter area * Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree.
The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment.
