What you need to know about this position:

Broad Imaging Services Department, which performs an average of 80,000 exams per year and offering CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine and all digital X-Ray.

Our Imaging Services Department supports Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments.

The base hourly rate for this position is $31.97. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

The day PRN position is not benefit-eligible but offers a premium for hours worked, and the scheduled hours depend on the needs of the department and our patients.

What is required for this position:

Associate's Degree or equivalent degree, completion of a military radiology program or completion of a hospital based radiology program required. Any and all must be approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

One year of practical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent is required

Graduate working under a valid Student Rad Tech license: Must maintain a valid X-Ray Machine Operators License from the Indiana State Department of Health within 6 months post-graduation

Current Registration from ARRT required within 90 days post-graduation, required CE credits must be maintained in accordance with accrediting bodies requirements

Registered Computer Tomography (CT) with AART required within 12 months of hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear; frequently required to walk, sit and reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and push or pull; must regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs, occasionally lift and/or move more than 100lbs.
