Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Contract Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and the ability to prepare high-quality dishes consistently. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. - Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. - Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth kitchen operations. - Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. - Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
