Western Reserve Local Schools - Substitute Custodian

The Renhill Group is currently recruiting Substitute Custodians for Western Reserve Local Schools in Collins, Ohio for the 2025-2026 school year.

This position is on call and as needed throughout the school year.

Qualified candidates must be able to provide verifiable previous experience in cleaning/maintenance, as well as demonstrate knowledge of basic safe practices and sanitary cleaning procedures.

Minimum requirements:

High School Diploma/Equivalent

Two professional references

BCI & FBI background checks

Dated within the past 12 months

On file with the Ohio Department of Education

Can be conducted by Renhill Group for one of the area's lowest rates ($55), if you do not already have them.

Necessary Skills/Duties:

Physically able to bend, balance, stoop, stretch, climb, crouch, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 70 pounds

Familiar with building systems such as alarms and HVAC

Dry mop/wash floors, clean furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, lockers, partitions, light fixtures, and display cases

Ability to read MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) information

Perform minor repairs

Perform preventive maintenance activities
