* They develop individualized programs that ensure client safety and enhancement of personal fitness goals.

* Additionally, they assist, monitor and instruct clients by ensuring safe and effective use of gym equipment and weight machines.

* Personal trainers help motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals Minimum Qualifications * Physically capable of assisting clients in their fitness activities, including bending, pulling, stretching, straining, kneeling, gripping and frequent lifting of weights * Preferred Personal Training certification: ACE, ACSM or AFAA Job Description Summary Personal Trainers conduct fitness consultations and assessments.
