Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Products Liability Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and specialize in defending clients against product liability claims. The attorney will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel, representing clients in court, and effectively managing cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in product liability litigation cases in court and during settlement negotiations.

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.

Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Manage all phases of case preparation, including trial preparation and risk assessment.

Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to gather information and develop defense strategies.

Negotiate settlements and manage discovery processes to ensure compliance with legal procedures.

Qualifications

JD

License to practice in the state of IL

3+ years of experience

Proven experience in litigation, specifically in product liability cases.

Strong understanding of risk assessment and liability issues.

Excellent trial preparation skills and experience.

Ability to conduct effective legal research and analysis.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.
