The Production Team Leader will play a critical role in supporting production operations and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, while maintaining established high-quality standards and driving efficiency initiatives. This role will also lead a team of production workers, guiding them to meet production targets while upholding safety regulations and quality control measures as outlined by the General Manager.

Job Responsibilities
Ensures the adequate supply of raw materials, tools and resources are available for production.
Reviews and maintains required inventory levels necessary to complete production requirements.
Monitors production process to ensure products meet output and quality standards.
Communicates and addresses quality issues in a timely manner with the General Manager.
Promotes a safety-first culture by enforcing all safety requirements and addressing safety concerns.
Motivates team members to exceed quality, safety, and production goals.
Identifies and provides process improvement suggestions to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
Fosters a collaborative and high-performance work environment through regular team feedback.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and streamline workflow.
Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence achievement.
Ensures all standard operating procedures are correctly followed.
Manages time effectively to ensure information is provided according to project timelines.
Assumes operational responsibilities during the General Manager's absence.
Represents Coastal in a professional manner and builds collaborative relationships with employees.
Position Requirements & Preferred Skills
Minimum of 1 - 3 years of production leadership experience, paint industry preferred
Competent at working effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong team leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of improving production efficiency and driving process optimization initiatives
Adaptable to changing priorities and willing to assume additional responsibilities
Proficiency in MS Office suite and production management software
Legally permitted to work in the United States
Education
High school degree or equivalent job-related work experience
Physical Conditions & Essential Functions
Able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
Regular, full-time job attendance
Able to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing.
Able to walk and be on your feet for at least 90% of the day.
Able to reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
Able to work in a warehouse environment, around related equipment.
