Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead the Apheresis Oncology Team as a TCT (Transplant and Cellular Therapy) RN in Gainesville, Florida.

As the lead, you will guide patient care, oversee apheresis procedures, and ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing transplant or cellular therapy. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse with a passion for oncology, leadership skills, and a strong dedication to patient-centered care.

Job specification

Lead and coordinate all apheresis activities, ensuring high-quality care for oncology patients requiring apheresis and cellular therapy treatments.

Manage patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer treatments by established protocols and patient-specific care plans.

Educate patients and families about procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care, providing emotional support and compassionate care.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state and federal regulations, and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.

Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing care protocols and procedures for the apheresis unit.

Candidate requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology or apheresis nursing; previous experience in a leadership role preferred.

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are required; ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) or Apheresis certification is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and lead with a patient-centered approach.
