We are currently looking for a Full Time Medical Family Therapist to join our Medical Family Therapy Team A team located at the Chickasaw Children's

Village, working 12:00 PM-9:00 PM - Mo Tu We Th 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Fr.

Summary:

Working collaboratively with other healthcare providers, you will be an embedded or co-located integrated healthcare team member. Responsibilities:

* Provides family, couple, individual and group therapies as needed

* Implements empirically validated measurements into therapeutic practice to assess for client progress in therapy and to measure overall therapeutic effectiveness with clients

* Conducts diagnostic screenings and assessments

* Utilizes an electronic health record keeping system to complete progress notes, treatment plans and other therapy-related materials to document appropriate legal and ethical standards of therapeutic services are upheld

* Provides clinical mental health consultations and brief interventions for patients served at the request of physicians, medical providers, mental health clinicians and other service providers

* Provides crisis intervention as needed during regular work hours and for medical family therapists working at CNMC, crisis intervention services are provided by rotation after work hours with an expected 20-minute call back response time

* Maintains an active full-time panel and caseload of billable services, engages in therapy-related activities and contributes to program development

* Aids in formulating and implementing assessment methods to measure program effectiveness

* Assists leadership in developing referrals and streamlining program processes

* Collaborates with physicians and medical providers on behalf of patients served, and makesreferrals as necessary

* Completes timely email correspondence, monthly reports, and business related to medical familytherapy service within CNDH and CNDFS, as appropriate

* Assists in developing grant proposals and implementing grant-related services, when needed.

* Collaborates with CNDH, CNDFS and other non-tribal entities to deliver services effectively toindividuals and families

* Participates in community outreach and related events

* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types

* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities

- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics

* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.

* Knowledge of relevant privacy regulations such as The Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

* Knowledge and understanding of First American populations

* Must be proficient in the use of electronic health record keeping systems

Experience:

* Masters Degree in directly related field

* Must be a currently licensed or license-eligible therapist in Oklahoma (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LADC-MH, LBP, or Psychologist), license eligible candidates must be able to achieve licensure within two years of hire
