Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Day shift

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with practice physician(s) and office manager to deliver clinical support

Aid physicians during patient examinations and treatments

Conduct patient interviews and accurately document their information

Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height

Perform blood sample collection and processing for laboratory testing Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent experience

Hold a valid MA, CNA, LPN, or EMT license/certification

Medical Assistants hired after 7/1/16 with a Certificate or Diploma of Completion must obtain Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months

Exclusion: Foreign Medical Doctors holding a Diploma

Current BLS certification

EKG and Phlebotomy Certifications mandatory for CNA license holders in Primary Care Practices

CNA, LPN, EMT licenses must be from the state of Florida

Familiarity with HIPAA/OSHA regulations

Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities

Display empathy, integrity, and ethical conduct

Effective communication skills with patients, colleagues, and management
