General Statement of Duties
This assignment supports the head coach in the management of the school's softball program and the development of softball athletes. It includes assisting with the creation and implementation of training regimens, as well as planning and organizing for practice sessions and games while ensuring the safety and well-being of the students on the team.
Essential Duties
Assists with the overall softball program.
Helps prepare players physically and mentally for interscholastic competition through practice, teaching fundamental skills, and knowledge of rules.
Assists with supervising the cleaning, storage, and proper care of all equipment.
Helps create a daily practice schedule and leads practice sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to support the management of a high school softball program through previous experience as a coach or player.
