Part Time Day Shift 3 shifts/week, 8:00a-3:30p every other weekend generally required
Responsibilities :
Frontline Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, answering phones, directing inquiries, and managing patient flow.
Patient Registration: Handle patient admissions, inputting personal information, and updating medical records.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, ensuring all forms and orders are properly filed and accessible.
Coordination: Assist in coordinating communication between physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members, ensuring timely delivery of care.
Ordering Supplies and Equipment: Monitor and manage office and medical supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
Monitoring Patient Status: Update patient information, track room assignments, and communicate patient progress to the team.
Requirements:
-Ideal candidate will be positive, friendly and high-energy.
-Minimum experience, general secretarial experience.
--Preferred experience: previous EMS or Emergency Department related experience.
-Minimum education, high school or equivalent.
--Preferred, secretarial or health related field, completion of course in medical terminology and/or EMS/pre-hospital experience
