Primary Duties * Ensure that all plant electrical equipment is maintained at optimal levels and efficiencies.
* Report normal, abnormal, or emergency plant conditions to the Site Manager.
Take all necessary corrective action in accordance with established policy or at the direction of the Site Manager.

* Prepare required reports as directed by the Site Manager.
* Oversee the daily upkeep of necessary plant logs and records to meet all regulatory standards.
* Monitor and maintain the Plant Operations Manual and assure that operating policies and procedures are kept up to date.
Job Qualifications: * Demonstrate detailed knowledge of solar industry best practices, NEC requirements, NFPA70E, and diagnosis/repair of common solar failures.
* Demonstrate experience performing complex but repetitive testing, creating a safe work environment, performing troubleshooting, and managing a team of peers or contractors.
* 5+ years electrical experience desired as well as licensing to work as an electrician.
* Working familiarity with system switching.
* Certification to operate a scissor lift and forklift or the ability to become certified.
* Must have and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and clean driving record; ideally, DOT driving license or the ability to obtain.
* NABCEP certification or other component-specific solar certifications are helpful.
