The Computer Science and Technology department of SUNY Orange invites applications from diverse individuals with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, as well as student learning and success.
We are seeking individuals to teach courses in the following areas during the days & evenings of the Fall '24 semester with a proficiency in fundamental concepts in database design, relational database and normalization, and SQL programming.
Teaching assignments are in-person on the Middletown Campus.
Requirements: Education Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT, Computer Science or Technology related field.
Experience Required: Database structures and SQL Programming Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics: * Master's degree in an IT, Computer Science or Technology related Field.
* Teaching experience.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Experience mentoring students.
