Seneca Health Care Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Coordinator to lead a dedicated nursing unit. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who is ready to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact on both resident care and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily clinical operations for the assigned unit
Provide hands-on nursing care and oversee medication and treatment administration
Supervise and support CNAs and unit staff to ensure high-quality resident care
Monitor documentation, care plans, and compliance with regulatory standards
Serve as a point of contact for families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in staff scheduling, training, and performance discussions
Support communication between nursing leadership and frontline staff
Requirements:
Current LPN license
Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (Preferred)
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to effectively delegate, problem-solve, and prioritize care
Experience in a lead nurse, charge nurse, or team leader role preferred
