JOB TITLE:
IT Maint. Technician Assistant
JOB PURPOSE:
The main focus of this position is to provide computer maintenance assistance, imaging assistance, and office aid support.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Pickup/deliver and setup/verify functionality of both new and repaired computer systems and peripherals.
Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining computers and peripherals by using proper techniques, research and software diagnostics.
Software rebuild of desktop and laptop computers through imaging.
Providing thorough comprehensive documentation for all repairs performed.
Maintain professionalism and punctual communication with client interaction and informing the status of repairs.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Continue to enhance computer knowledge by reading training guides and going through provided software training materials geared for A+, Apple and Microsoft Professional Certifications.
Review and update information in inventory systems, verify data for accuracy and completeness
Perform basic data entry and billing assistance
Assist in Pickup/Delivery follow up /coordination
Review work tickets and update as necessary
Maintain detailed inventory records according to policies
Assist in shipping and receiving and proper notification of recipients
Distribution of inventory parts to technicians for repairs
Recording and coordinating general maintenance duties
Follow up and updating clients on current ongoing repairs
Assisting with the monitoring of Data recovery
Assisting with monthly reimbursement reports
Perform other office related tasks and duties as assigned
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.with or without reasonable accommodation
This position is supervised by full-time staffed technicians
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent computer skills and proficient knowledge in computer applications including MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of basic computer trouble shooting practices and procedures
Ability to follow detailed processes and verbal instruction
Strong interpersonal skills with a dedication to provide exemplary customer service.
Proven ability to work well in a team environment
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy found at:
