Production Supervisor

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor at our EPS Elkhart, IN manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for daily production planning, supervising production personnel, overseeing quality in the department, coordinate daily production schedule, and coordinate with shipping and/or production to ensure timely loading of product.

Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operational excellence. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to organize, direct, and monitor all aspects of production in the department.

Your responsibilities as a Production Supervisor will include:

Daily production planning.

Supervise production personnel.

Oversee quality in the department.

Coordinate daily production schedule.

Responsible for training.

Responsible for completing customer orders efficiently.

Responsible for proper equipment operation and ensure all Preventive Maintenance Programs are being followed and completed.

Responsible for safety and that all safety policies and rules are being followed.

Responsible for implementing all company policies and guidelines.

Coordinate with shipping and/or production to ensure timely loading of product.

Skills and Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Two to four years' Supervisory experience required to perform the job.

Good communication skills.

Able to delegate duties and responsibilities effectively.

Ability to function under pressure is essential.
