You will perform service and maintenance tasks on gas engines.
You will maintain a high standard of customer service while continuing your development to build a lasting career at Michigan CAT.
Responsibilities Your daily tasks will include, but will not be limited to: * Diagnose problems with engines using a variety of methods and tools.
* Overhaul/Repair various engines.
* Identify and source any parts required for repair or service.
* Complete a detailed service report to provide to the Service Coordinator and Service Supervisor.
* Clean and paint engines as necessary to complete the job.
Qualifications To be considered for a position as a MacAllister Service Technician, you should have: * A minimum of 2-5 years of engine repair experience.
* Highly motivated and able to learn new tasks, processes, and policies.
Preferred qualifications: * Prior experience using CAT ET or similar electronic diagnostics tool.
* Experience writing detailed service reports on internal/external customer equipment.
