Essential Functions: * Plan, direct, coordinate and lead activities of specified project to ensure that goals, objectives and all elements are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

* Support day-to-day coordination of WISE and University of Akron component activities, reports and scheduling.

* Manage high school/community outreach activities, track course and student metrics and milestones, and manage tuition vouchers.

Additional Position Information: Education: Requires a relevant Bachelor's degree.

Licenses/Certifications/Requirements: None.

Experience: Requires a minimum of 4 years of administrative experience to include 2 years of project management.

Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

Previous supervisory experience required.

Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database computer software required.

Leadership: May serve as direct first-line supervisor over exempt staff (and non-exempt staff, if applicable) or students.

Physical Requirements: Job is physically comfortable; individual is normally seated and has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

May occasionally lift very lightweight objects.

Working Conditions: Standard working environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions and/or minor heating/cooling or ventilation problems.

Salary: Starting salary is $51,000 annually and is commensurate with experience.
