Full-Time Infant/Toddler Teacher

Duties * Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddler age children * Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow * Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning * Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress * Monitor and assess each child's individual needs and provide appropriate support * Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques * Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment * Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children Skills * Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and engaging classroom environment * Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education * Caregiving: Experience in providing care and support to young children * First aid: Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred * Behavior management: Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors in a positive manner * Toddler care: Experience working with toddlers and understanding their unique needs * Childhood development: Understanding of the stages of childhood development and how to support growth in each area * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * No weekends to work
