Finneytown Local School District is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Professional to join our facilities team.

In this vital role, you'll help maintain the physical plant across the district with a strong emphasis on preventive maintenance (PM) and best practices in the field.

Your work will ensure our learning environments remain safe, comfortable, and fully functional for students and staff alike.

What You'll Be Doing: * Performing skilled maintenance tasks with a focus on preventive care and system efficiency * Ensuring all work aligns with design specs, building codes, and safety regulations * Responding to repair needs across the district's facilities * Operating grounds maintenance equipment, such as snowplows, mowers, tractors, and lifts.

* Capability of exercising sound judgment to preserve the safety and well-being of others * Experience in the operation of equipment used in grounds maintenance, including, but not limited to: snowplows, mowers, power-driven equipment, tractor, dump truck, etc.

* Ability to understand chemical hazards and adhere to safety practices * Ability to work independently * Ability to prioritize maintenance needs and meet deadlines * Ability to maintain a high level of ethical behavior * Ability to work cooperatively with all administrators, teachers, co-workers, families, and students * Ability to read, write and comprehend written and oral instructions, warnings, and labels * Satisfactory BCI and FBI Criminal Background checks A complete job description is available upon request.
