AWS - Network Architect

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Network Architect / Senior Network Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced cloud networking solutions within our AWS environment. This role will focus on building secure ingress pathways, DMZ architecture, and private connectivity to support third-party client integrations and modernization efforts for clearing and settlement systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement ingress architecture into AWS using VPC endpoints to securely publish services for third-party clients.

Lead the DMZ buildout within AWS, including secure customer ingestion and traffic segmentation.

Architect and deploy VPCs, firewall endpoints, and PrivateLink connectivity to ensure secure and scalable network access.

Collaborate with infrastructure and modernization teams to align networking solutions with broader cloud transformation goals.

Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments.

Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to validate networking designs and configurations.

Ensure compliance with security best practices and AWS architecture standards.

• Work closely with stakeholders, including Andre, to confirm remote work arrangements and project alignment.

Required Skills : • 6-8 years of AWS Sr. Network Engineer experience with strong DMZ(needs to have personally built out DMZ environment) and strong AWS VPC experience(needs to have personally built out an AWS VPC environment) • 3+ years of Terraform experience- must be able to write Re-usable Terraform modules from Scratch. • Must Have hand-On experience building out Ingress into AWS environment VPC endpoint to publish 3rd party clients
