Job Summary
Assist in daily office needs and managing departmental general administrative activities. Provide administrative and Clerical responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining office inventory.
Essential Job Duties
Provide support to our managers and employees.
Assist in daily office needs and managing departmental general administrative activities.
Provide administrative and Clerical responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining office inventory.
Manage purchase orders, invoices, and account balances.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and events.
Provide budgetary assistance.
Process and route paperwork; draft correspondence.
Maintain files and assisting faculty with research grants submissions.
Assist with phone inquiries and student inquiries regarding faculty contact and student programming for international students and study abroad students.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
Bachelors degree
Experience working with college students
Physical Demands
Event set-up
Some lifting of boxes and promotional materials
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to walk short distances
Ability to lift and carry parcels, packages and other items
Ability to view a computer terminal
Skills and Attributes
Skills:
Proficient in microsoft word, adobe, powerpoint, outlook, filing, copying and paper work processing and electronic form creation in google docs.
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability:
Ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and students (international and domestic).
